"Lucky" is a stunning 2001 frame overo stallion with a level-headed temperament to add to his charm. He is a "mellow fellow" as we like to joke, but lacks no energy when asked under saddle; he's not the type of horse that you've got to kick and kick to get them to budge, by any means! He's just unlikely to run out on you or spook at something silly if you, the rider, are unafraid.
Lucky comes from a long line of great breeding that includes alot of champions! Lucky's sire, LUCKY DIAMOND TE, is a black overo APHA Champion, 26X Grand Champion, 12X Reserve Champion, and earner of 3 Superior titles, 4 ROMs, and points in halter (92), western pleasure (97), trail (73), heeling (10), hunter under saddle (7), heading, western riding, etc. His full brother, LUCKYS TE N TE, is a World Champion in reining. As you can see, this is a very versatile family!
Lucky's dam, MIN CHIPS, is a black Quarter Horse mare. She is a daughter of CHIPS IMPRESSION, son of AQHA World Champion, MR. IMPRESSIVE. MR. IMPRESSIVE sired 19 World Champion offspring and 13 Reserve World Champion offspring, as well as those earning lesser (but still impressive) titles. MIN CHIPS's dam, SO OBVIOUS, is also from royal bloodlines. She is a daughter of OBVIOUS CONCLUSION, who has also sired World & Reserve World Champion offspring.
